The Historic Shelton Theater
The historic Shelton Theater is conveniently located in downtown San Francisco near Union Square at 533 Sutter between Powell and Mason. The Shelton recently installed a new air conditioning system, is wheelchair accessible, and features a full bar with no drink minimum.
Bar & Box Office
The Shelton Bar and Box office open at 7:30pm. Guests can enjoy the full bar with no drink minimums (unlike most comedy clubs). Since under 21 are allowed at the show, you must have valid ID to purchase alcohol. Local jazz musicians occasionally perform impromptu sets in the bar after the late night shows and Guests are invited to hang out and enjoy.
Transit & Parking
The theater is close to BART, cable car, and bus stops. Street parking may also be available, and the nearby public & affordable Sutter/Stockton Garage only two blocks away is highly recommended.
