A: Every Secret Improv performance is a unique, fast paced, interactive, laugh out loud improvised comedy experience. If you're looking for fun things to do in San Francisco, Secret Improv should be on your list. In fact, Secret Improv is the winner of SF Magazine's Best Comedy Show: "Since 2008, a regular troupe of trained improvisers has been putting on this beloved late-night comedy show based largely on on-the-spot audience suggestions ... the intimate space feels more like hanging out in your living room with friends. There’s a full bar but no drink requirement, and free Oreos!"
A: Starting August 20, 2021, the city of San Francisco requires all patrons to provide evidence of vaccination to enter our theater. Children under 12 are excepted. Please bring your vaccine card with you.
A: First, all ages are welcome to our shows. Our experience tells us that teens and families tend to really enjoy the fun, fast paced nature of the shows, so we generally recommend 16 and up. However, parents are warned that each show is unique and we never know exactly what will happen, and there's a good chance that some adult language and/or themes can arise. Ultimately, we leave it up to the parents to decide what is appropriate for their kids. But, please, no crying babies, unruly kids or adults.
A: The box office and bar opens around 7pm. General seating tickets are $25.00 at the door, cash and credit accepted. However, buying online is your best deal because tickets are discounted and you're assured seating in the event of a sell-out.
All reservations must check in at the box office no later than 5 minutes prior to show time. Simply give your name at the box office - there's no need to print your ticket, but save your confirmation email in case there's an issue. Reserved ticket holders who arrive late may be subject to standing room only or have their reservations moved to another night or later show.
Online ticket sales end at 7:00 pm the night of the show, however tickets may still be available at the box office until 8:15 pm. Tickets are no longer available online or at the box office if it says "SOLD OUT" next to the date on the online "Select a date" Ticket sales Calendar.
A: Yes, it's sort of a tradition that we serve free Oreos. We've noticed it tends to make people happy when you hand them a delicious cookie. We might need to curtail this tradition due to the pandemic or find a safe alternative to our Oreo Cookie serving tray.
A: There is no parking at the theater, but there are many public parking garages close by. See your options on Parkopedia.
A: We often sell out, so please buy your tickets in advance. If the event is sold out online, we will not have any extra tickets to sell at the door.
